Robert Brown - bio
Robert Brown, from Springfield, Ohio, began studying classical guitar with Lawrence Pitzer, director of the guitar department at Wittenberg University. His undergraduate education took place at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Clare Callahan. He earned his Master's degree from Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts where he studied with Robert Guthrie.

Mr. Brown has won first prizes in several international guitar competitions, including the Portland Solo Guitar Competition and the Dallas Classical Guitar Society Competition. He is currently the guitar teacher at the St. Ursula Academy, and operates his own private studio in Cincinnati.
